Futura VS Hennessy

Don't you just love it when two things you like (or people) come together?
There are many collaborations around these days, some are very smart and
some brands have become very strategic in their formular for collaborations...
but this can sometimes come off as forced, copied or formulated.

For me this feels like a good collaboration, following on from the Kaws project
last year, brand building for the future of Hennessy. I hope I can get my hands
on one of these bottles :-)
There is also a Converse tie-in with this project, but perhaps that takes it a little
too far, or at least for me I don't really understand the connection?
You can find more about the Converse part online.

This collaboration is part of the Hennessy - Never Stop Never Settle project...

BANKSY - Exit Through The Gift Shop

What is this all about? Doesn't look like a documentary about Banksy. Is it a mockumentary about street-art...
made by Banksy, probably! Music by Geoff Barrow (Portishead) and some from Roni Size ;-)
Does anyone have any more info about this, would love to know more?

KAWS - 00s Warhol?

I guess this was inevitable, KAWS goes mainstream in this report for CBS. I hope he doesn't just rest on his laurels,
but somehow I hope he now raises his game and changes direction, or surprises me artistically ;-) Big-up Kaws!

BANKSY - Boosts Pub Sale Price

The Whitehouse pub in Liverpool is on the market for £495,000, but the 20ft-high Banksy rat - could see the pub
sell for £1m. Banksy! Please come and paint something on my apartment!

BANKSY - US Tour

Banksy continues to raise his profile in the US! A master of self promotion he started in New Orleans, creating
various hurricane themed pieces. Now it seems he is heading through the deep south. See more...

BANKSY - Comments On His Identity

After the media blitz last week, Banksy has commented on his website.
This witty response sounds like a double bluff to me!

BANKSY - The Scarlet Pimpernel Of Modern Art

The Mail newspaper goes on a year long investigation to uncover the true identity
of Banksy. This is a great read and brings back some nice memories for me. Coming
from Bristol originally (then to London, then Sthlm) and rolling in the same circles... I have
already been sworn to secrecy, but if the price is right I could be swayed ;-)
Offers now welcome!

KAWS - One Man Brand

Kaws talks about his i-D issue + some background stuff! The way he has turned
himself from street artist to one man brand is quality! But he should take it easy
hanging out with all those hip hop stars, remember what happened to Nigo ;-)

BANKSY - New!

He's been a bit quiet of late but here is a new piece in central London.
How he managed to do it right in front of a CCTV camera without being caught is also the art here!
Great skills, that's how!

BRISTOL BOY, ART LEGEND - Banksy

A mini documentary with rare spoken word from Banksy himself. Think this might
be a bit old but still is a good watch and gives good insight into the legend. See movie HERE.
