MONKEY - Journey To The West

Explore the world of Monkey: Journey To The West, the new project from Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn.
After the success of the Gorillaz project, this time the duo turn their creative touches to opera!!!
Conceived, Written and Directed by Chen Shi-Zheng - Composed by Damon Albarn. Visual Concept, Costume,
Design and Animation by Jamie Hewlett.
There is loads of great, fun content in this project, something for everyone... even a video remix comp for all you
animation lovers! The show starts this month in London, wish I could catch one, looks great as well.

Nearly forgot to mention the TV series it's based on. All UK kids grew up loving this in the 80's, cult TV show...

INTEGRATED - Coke Zero

Although this is a bit too American for me, it gives good insight of how integrated advertising should be.
How in this fast moving (I only notice new stuff) world, ideas need to be followed through in all channels...
thus adding longevity and reaching more people with a concept. Yes Coke have the money to do it, but I
believe for smaller clients the money can be better spread, as long as there is an audience within that channel...
no point having a Facebook fan page if you're selling false teeth :-)

INTEGRATED - Orange Widget

Because I think the current Orange campaign is so good, I thought I would add their widget.

ORANGE - I am who I am because of everyone

As part of the - ''together we can do more'' campaign, Fallon has created a good stab at a proper integrated
campaign for Orange - ''I am...''. All channels seem to be well thought through and well featured! Great simple
AD (& models) in the print ads, heart yerking emotional clips and good web content, explore!

What I like best are the payoffs and overall positioning, it seems to me to be an attempt to capture, reference
and ride with the current state of our world - being connected online, social networks, community and sharing...
which will hopefully push development in all fields to make way for the new!
I must be watching too much TED.com ;-)
