NIKE - Air Jordan 2009

I haven't posted any sites like this for a while. Really like the simple execution of this new site for the Air Jordan 2009.

But shouldn't there be some share tools for the videos, these sportsmen must have huge fan bases? The sharing can

then create awareness and draw traffic back to the site. Am I missing something?

DAMIEN HIRST - Record £111 Million!

A two-day sale of art work by Damien Hirst has set a new record for an auction dedicated to one artist of £111 million, at
Sotheby's in London. 220 works were sold directly through the auction, saving millions by cutting out dealers' commission.
The previous record set in 1993 for 88 works by Picasso had stood at 20 million US dollars. Love his work or hate it he definitely
knows how to spin the art world, some calling him the master of hype. SEE HIM TALK ABOUT HIS WORK...

Impressive, but I'd rather see them outside in a large open space.

Antony Gormley - Out Of Time

I first saw the art of Antony Gormley in 1994, when he won the Turner Art Prize.

His work had an immediate effect on me, I think because of it's minimal, out of time look and feel

but also because of the place or space the work was situated. So it was great to come across

his site and find plenty of new pieces I hadn't seen. Now I just have to save some money and

create a space for one ;-)

RACHEL THOMAS - Set Design

Rachel Thomas creates lovely set design and has collaborated with

the fantastic still life / product photographer Dan Tobin Smith.
