THE COVE - You Need To Know, To Stop It!!!

Last week I got an invite to a preview of one the films showing at this years Stockholm Film Festival, I have to
spread this so we can help create awareness and stop this awful act as soon as possible! Go see it as well!

Every year 23,000 dolphins are killed within a tiny cove in a Japanese fishing village called Taiji. The reason why
you haven't heard of this before, is that gaining evidence is almost impossible as The Cove is heavily guarded and
sheltered from cameras and prying eyes... hiding this very dark secret. Until now!

Not even the Japanese people know about this practice and the fact that they are eating the meat and being told that
it's whale meat, which they consume in huge amounts. To add to this disgusting situation is the fact that the dolphin meat
is heavily contaminated with mercury, which is slowly poisoning the people without their knowing.

This documentary follows a team with speciality skills, intent in gaining evidence by what ever means necessary...
which in this case includes state of the art surveillance techniques and film set special effects, with military planning.

Don't worry I haven't told you everything about the film... so make sure to try and see it!

Breakthrough Learning in a Digital Age - Day 1

Finally Google get behind something that really matters, not just creating cool apps that help people (yes good) but
now they are creating a movement for the future and our children. They are really enforcing a platform/concept to help
education in a digital age... and opening it up to creatives and technologists to help create the tools and ideas to do this.

Informal schooling Vs formal schooling is a hot topic in the world of education, mainly due to the shifting world we're
living in. Both from a technology perspective but also a mindset. Sesame Street was also born out of this shifting
world and media (TV) in the 60s. If you have a spare 1:44:56, then check out this clip! Or make the time!

Have you got what it takes to add to the movement? Get more info here...
