RANKIN - Retrospective Exhibition

Love him or hate him, Rankin has definitely made his mark in the photography world. It's been his portrait imagery
which has really stood out over the years, photographing everyone from Madonna to the Queen.
I caught one of his exhibitions in the late nineties and was blown away by the way he had managed to capture stars
and icons like you'd never seen them. Using his platform which is Dazed & Confused, which he set up with Jefferson
Hack... many years ago now, he created the opportunity to photograph everyone current at the time, past and future.

ART & COPY - Advertising & Inspiration

Art & Copy is a powerful new film about advertising and inspiration. It reveals the work and wisdom of some of the
most influential advertising creatives of our time -- people who've profoundly impacted our culture, yet are virtually
unknown outside their industry. Really wanna see this!

THE INFORMERS - Movie finally out now

Caught this movie last night having waited ages for the release it seems. The Informers is a Bret Easton Ellis
story of emotional disconnection and moral decay, set in 1980's LA. Great cast, cinematography and soundtrack!

AR TUBE MAPS - iPhone Augmented Reality

Saw this last month and came across the website for acrossair yesterday! This App kicks ass and is a huge shift
for how people interact within their environment. The world will be an odd place when we start walking around wearing
strange glasses and bringing up info on buildings, products, people... everything? Map also available for NYC ;-)

BACK TO BLOG!

Well it's been sometime since my last post, this is due to various reasons:

1 - Gave it a rest! I found I'd talked about most things in terms of strategic thinking and was repeating myself.
2 - Too busy to blog. Have had some major projects that needed my full attention. Coming soon!
3 - Summer Holidays. Had some lovely trips here and there!
4 - Been away a lot on various work related events.
5 - My Hard Disk died :-( nearly back to how I had it, minus some files unfortunately, must back-up more ;-)

Over the next couple of weeks I'll be posting what I've been up to, as well as new creative stuff...
and things that may be a bit older, but well worth a mention.

Hold tight ;-)
