Stefan Sagmeister - TVC

I seem to remember Sagmeister showing this at OFFF last year in Lisbon. I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do
with the Absolut ads in the latter of 2009... as it came under a lot of diss from the creative industry, due to various
reasons I won't go into now. Not that he invented this typography in situ style, but he did really reinvent it and make
it his own (which many designers jumped on in their work) Anyway I'm glad this is finally out and to see him moving
into other mediums with this typography style ;-) This will probably appeal more to non-creatives, designers etc are
probably subconsciously sick to death with seeing this type of typographic solution :-(

50 Years of Dr. Martens

Dr. Martins turned 50 this month and to mark the occasion they've stepped up their presence with some activities
to raise the heritage again and connect with new audiences. They've asked 10 artists to record their version of a cult
classic track which represents the spirit of the people who've worn DM's over the past 50 years. And also asked 10
directors to make videos for each of the tracks.

Nothing new concept wise, but nice content. But with such a history and fan base over the years it would be good
to somehow let fans interact and participant in the anniversary, everyone has a story with this brand.

CR Annual iPhone App

Kinda good if you miss the magazine every month, or skip their blog.
Next year, The Annual on an iPad right? Too much zooming on the iPhone!
Or probably the magazine will have a monthly iPad version by then ;-)

Greatest ad campaign ever!

I'm so bored with these types of case studies!
At least this has a twist and plays with that idea ;-)
I think it's time to come up with new ways to present creative cases!

Massive Attack - Saturday Come Slow [HD]

Massive Attack use the promo art form, not just as a music video, but as a way to draw attention to Music Torture.

24:hours feat. AZARI & III - SATURDAY - 3/4/2010

Saturday looks like it's gearing up to be a proper Easter slammer when we have special guests AZARI & III joining
us from Toronto, Canada. If you've been living under a rock for a while and haven't heard their floor-filler tracks:
HUNGRY FOR THE POWPER or RECKLESS WITH YOUR LOVE... now is your chance to get some on the
dance-floor this weekend! The tracks were put out last year on genre busting labels I'm a Cliché & Permanent
Vacation respectfully, both of which continue to push the limits with every quality release. Whether you're an
old school house head or disco know it all... expect to be moved! Open minds welcome ;-)
