ORANGE - Good Things Never End
This campaign is from a little while back, maybe even 2007. I remember being impressed by the high level of cute animations.
Today I visited it again as research for something else and got stuck in a conversion with Buzz. Check it out...

BECK'S - Live Studio
Seems like there is a lot of these art fusions with brands going on at the moment... adidas, Volvo, Vice, Diesel etc
all have a similar concept, or approach. Beck's have always had an art connection, but what Dare has done here
with Beck's Live Studio, taking it live and adding the music element is the stand out part. Expect to see a lot
more live feeds popping up all over the place ;-) I've also been trying to plug a live feed concept to a client for
the past 2 weeks. Come on, before it's too late!

INTEGRATED - Coke Zero
Although this is a bit too American for me, it gives good insight of how integrated advertising should be.
How in this fast moving (I only notice new stuff) world, ideas need to be followed through in all channels...
thus adding longevity and reaching more people with a concept. Yes Coke have the money to do it, but I
believe for smaller clients the money can be better spread, as long as there is an audience within that channel...
no point having a Facebook fan page if you're selling false teeth :-)

FABIEN BARON - Liquid Light 1983-2003
Fabien Baron has a new book published by Steidldangin! There is no limit to the skills of this truly all-round
creative. It just reminded me that I must get a copy of the Interview magazine (the one with Kate Moss on the cover)
sure to be a collector item with all the design details ;-)

NAKKNA - Fashion / Film / Art
With all fashion labels now doing movies these days (something I've been pushing on clients for time)
it's nice to see Swedish label Nakkna getting real arty in this piece, together with the Royal Swedish Ballet.
Directed by Gosta Reiland, Sandberg & Timonen with nice evoking aural abstraction from Yourhighness.
If you like this type of thing check this also...

EVERY MOMENT NOW - Obama Vs McCain
I have stayed clear from the over hyped media circus which has been going on and on in the US, although there
has been some interesting content, sharing, networking and various other marketing processes developed, both
online & off. What I like about THIS SITE is 1. The Simplicity, 2. The Content Control, and 3. The Overview.
I'm currently working on a project for a client where this type of overview could be utilized, but in a much more
fun way! Hope they go for it ;-)
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY - Vice Scandinavia
GRAM - Sneaker Freaker
Gram have been jumping forth in leaps and bounds recently, creating new products and raising
their worldwide profile. Which leads nicely into this interview with cult magazine, Sneaker Freaker...
DAMIEN HIRST - Record £111 Million!
A two-day sale of art work by Damien Hirst has set a new record for an auction dedicated to one artist of £111 million, at
Sotheby's in London. 220 works were sold directly through the auction, saving millions by cutting out dealers' commission.
The previous record set in 1993 for 88 works by Picasso had stood at 20 million US dollars. Love his work or hate it he definitely
knows how to spin the art world, some calling him the master of hype. SEE HIM TALK ABOUT HIS WORK...

MINIMAL SITES - Pure Is Pure
Here is a blog for all the design purists out there! Minimal Sites focuses on just what it says and you'll be hard to
find any drop shadows or PS effects in here. I'm all up for pure design (for the right client or job) that's why most of
the sites featured are design and communication company sites who want their own site to be a canvas for their
work and show it in a simple way. I've always liked this direction, letting and showing the client work in full...
just as long as the work is creative and can talk loudly enough!

SAD SHOCK NEWS - Nagi Noda Dies Aged 35
I've just learnt that acclaimed multi-talented director/artist Nagi Noda passed away on Sunday.
She was only 35! Her work was truly inspiring and the crossover into advertising so impactful.
Big brands such as Coke, Nike, LG & Panasonic all bought into her crazy creative style.
She also created seminal music video's for Tiga & Scissor Sisters, as well as many fun art/fashion
projects. A creative talent that will surely be missed in many ways!
APPLE - New Goodness
Check out all the new stuff Apple have come up with, presented on Tuesday the 9th. Features iTunes, iPod Touch
& Nano, games + more. Watch Steve go through his usual high quality Keynote presentation... Keep an eye
out for the ads as well, nothing amazing but do the job in selling the features & products.

WRITE MAPS - Site Map Application
Fun new looking app for creating site maps, but online. Export XML etc and control notes
in a better way. Only thing I can't seem to find is how to export to a image? Check it...

INTEGRATED - Orange Widget
Because I think the current Orange campaign is so good, I thought I would add their widget.
adidas - NEW HOME
Having worked a lot over the past few years with adidas, it's nice to see they have a new start page.
Although this look and feel is nothing new, it gives a better overlook and encourages the user to explore more.
But I do think maybe they should have split the 3 adidas devisions up more: Style, Originals, Performance.
BON - New Look
Bon magazine have a new look with a sexy new redesign, will be interesting to see if they stick with
just black and white cover photography. Read more here...

images and personal insights from some of the most creative names in contemporary fashion, music, art and design.

ORANGE - I am who I am because of everyone
As part of the - ''together we can do more'' campaign, Fallon has created a good stab at a proper integrated
campaign for Orange - ''I am...''. All channels seem to be well thought through and well featured! Great simple
AD (& models) in the print ads, heart yerking emotional clips and good web content, explore!
What I like best are the payoffs and overall positioning, it seems to me to be an attempt to capture, reference
and ride with the current state of our world - being connected online, social networks, community and sharing...
which will hopefully push development in all fields to make way for the new!
I must be watching too much TED.com ;-)
